SYL encourages students to help the victims of the Ukrainian war. There are many ways to help, even if you don’t have much money. We will list below the different ways to take action and to donate.

• Encourage your workplace, your student organization, or your relatives to donate to the victims of the war in Ukraine.
• Contact members of the municipal council where you live if you want your city to take action to help Ukrainians here or in Ukraine.
• Take part in demonstrations and peaceful civic activism. In Helsinki, for example, there is a demonstration every night in front of the Russian Embassy this week.
• Only share verified information from reputable sources. Social media is full of different news that evoke emotion. Some of these may be disinformation.
